What should you charge a sponsor?

Enter your following and who you are. The calculator compares you with sellers who have actually been paid for a spot on their laptop, of the same order of following, and gives you a price for each spot and a benchmark for a sponsored post.

A sticker spot on your laptop

What spots sold for, compared with sellers of 1,000 to 10,000 followers.

SpotAskBased on
Top row banner$7428 sales, all sellers
Middle row square$15824 sales, all sellers
Bottom row strip$3459 sales, all sellers

Fewer than 5 sales in your band for some spots, so those use every sale.

A full lid of ten spots at these prices comes to $3,893, before the 10% commission.

The price is half of it. No lid on this site has sold a spot before about 150 people had seen it, and every spot sold followed the seller’s own post about it. Price fairly, then announce it, on LinkedIn first.

A sponsored post, for comparison

  • X post: about $20 to $50, at the $8 to $20 per thousand followers CreatiCalc publishes for 2026. A thread asks about 1.8 times that.
  • A post is seen for a day or two. A sticker stays on for the months you set, usually twelve, and it is in every room and every video your laptop is in.

List your laptop with these prices. Brands pay you through your own Stripe account, you approve every logo before you are charged a cent, and the platform takes 10% of what sells.

Where the numbers come from

43 sticker spots sold on this marketplace since August 2026, each with its position on the lid and the seller’s X following at the time it was last read. The median term was 12 months. The full dataset is public in the laptop ad price index.

The figure is the median of comparable sales, and the range is the middle half of them. When fewer than five spots have sold in your band for a position, every sale for that position is used instead, and the table says so.

What moves a sponsor’s price

Sponsored post rates

The post figures are published benchmarks, not sales on this site. For X, CreatiCalc puts the 2026 base rate at $8 to $20 per thousand followers. For LinkedIn, Favikon’s study of 135 paid deals found a median of $798 a post. Both are in US dollars.

For the market as a whole, see the stats: brands have paid $13,461 across 43 spots.

Questions

How much should a small creator charge a sponsor?
Start from what comparable creators were paid, not from your follower count alone. For a sticker spot on your laptop, the calculator shows the median price paid to sellers with a similar following, by position on the lid.
How much do brands pay to put a sticker on a laptop?
On this marketplace the median middle-row square has sold for $158, a bottom strip for $345 and a top-row banner for $742. The calculator and the price index show the current figures.
Should I charge per post or per month?
A post is priced per post. A sticker is priced for its whole term, usually twelve months, and paid once. The longer term is part of what the brand buys, so price it in.
